Certificate in Spiritual Direction

Successful candidates for a Certificate in Spiritual Direction will have:

• Completed all four years in the program, including four residency weeks, all readings and assigned papers, semi-annual intensive, reflective self-evaluations, ongoing personal spiritual direction with a trained spiritual director, and supervision with a trained supervisor.

• Offered spiritual direction under the guidance of a trained supervisor and have submitted a minimum of 20 contemplative reflection forms (“CRF’s), which include both preparatory reflection and focus for the supervision session as well as dialogue for each session. We encourage students to begin offering direction under supervision by the end of their first year of formation.

• Consistently demonstrated evidence of a call to the ministry as assessed by the program leadership team.  ​
